Summer is just around the corner and maybe you’ve been putting off some things that need to get done.

Setting summer goals is just like setting any other goals. First, let’s start with a list.
You want to plan out your goals and hold yourself accountable for them. Making a list and writing them down helps with this and is something that you can always refer back to.
Next, pick a date for when you want to accomplish this goal. Setting a deadline helps us to stay on track.
And last, make this list visible in your home or on your computer where you can easily see it daily and be reminded of the goals that you set.
You can even write these goals in your journal and at the end of the day reflect on them or change them if needed.
Why Set Summer Goals
Summer is full of distractions between traveling. events. and spending most of your time outside near the pool or on the beach. Summer goals help you to stay productive and not feel as if you wasted the summer away.
Now, of course, it’s totally okay to have some fun in the sun and relax this summer. But we can do both! You don’t have to give up one for the other. You can still be productive and reach your goals while having fun.

1. Learn How to Surf
Learning how to surf has been on my bucket list for quite a while now. Not only is it great exercise, But it will kick your body into shape.
It’s something that will make you feel accomplished and good about yourself. Surfers have a lot of fun riding those waves all summer long and you can partake in the activity as well. Take beginner lessons and learn how to surf!
2. Practice Yoga on the Beach
A nice summer morning of stretching and yoga practice will boost your mood and help you to get ready to take on the summer day.
The beach is the perfect place to practice yoga as you can take in your surroundings and really feel at peace.
If you don’t live near beach maybe try a nearby park, or in your own backyard
3. Declutter Your Room
Spring cleaning is a popular time to declutter but why not turn that into a summer cleaning session and declutter your room.
Decluttering helps us to create more space in our homes and in our lives. Clear your mind and space this summer and embrace living clutter-free.
4. Plan a Summer Getaway
Do you need a mini-vacation for a little rest and relaxation? Don’t live near the beach and are dying to see it?

Picnics are a great way to gather together with friends and indulge in some good food. spots in your town or city that would make the perfect place for a picnic.

9. Learn How to BBQ
Barbecues are a great way to spend time with friends eat some great food enjoy a nice lunch or dinner.
You can take some courses online or watch some YouTube videos to help you get started with barbecuing if you don’t know-how.
10. Take Some Hikes in Nature
Sometimes those summer days can be way too hot and maybe you need to cool off with a nice summer hike in the woods or in the forest.
Those trees do have a way of keeping you cool while exercising.
